A focused mineral exploration and development company unlocking South Africa's world-class mineral endowment — from platinum group metals to battery technology minerals — in the heart of the North West Province.
Bierkraal Mining Resources (Pty) Ltd is a South African mining and prospecting company dedicated to the responsible exploration and strategic development of the country's rich mineral endowment. Headquartered in Rustenburg, North West Province, BMR operates at the intersection of geological expertise, investment opportunity, and community commitment.
Our focus spans platinum group metals, battery minerals, and base metals — commodities that underpin both South Africa's industrial legacy and the global clean energy transition. BMR is structured as the primary development and investment vehicle, positioned to attract institutional and private investors seeking exposure to a rights-secured mineral asset in one of the world's most prolific mining jurisdictions.
Systematic geological programmes on granted prospecting rights
Structured for direct investor participation at BMR level
Strategic mining partnerships and project co-development
Full adherence to MPRDA and South African mining legislation
Bierkraal 134 JP is a strategically significant prospecting right situated within one of South Africa's most mineralised corridors — the Rustenburg area of the North West Province, South Africa.
BMR's geological exploration programme is founded on rigorous technical methodologies and clearly defined development pathways. Each stage is designed to progressively advance the Bierkraal 134 JP resource towards bankable definition — from desktop studies and terrain analysis through systematic geophysical surveys, geochemical sampling, and drill targeting.
Our technical capabilities span geophysical survey interpretation, geochemical programme design, SAMREC-compliant resource estimation, and integrated geological modelling — underpinned by the operational expertise of BMR's technical leadership team.
Comprehensive review of existing geological data, satellite imagery, and regional structural mapping to define priority areas
Airborne magnetics, ground EM surveys, and gravity profiling for systematic target delineation
Soil, rock chip, and stream sediment programmes with accredited laboratory analysis and QA/QC protocols
Diamond and RC drilling advancing targets to SAMREC-compliant inferred and indicated resource categories
From initial ground assessment through to bankable project development, BMR delivers end-to-end mineral exploration and partnership solutions across South Africa's mineral-rich provinces.
Systematic surface and subsurface prospecting programmes conducted within our granted rights areas, employing modern geophysical and geochemical survey techniques to identify, evaluate, and refine mineralisation targets.
BMR's geological exploration programme is built on clearly defined development pathways and robust technical capabilities — advancing mineral resources from early-stage targets to resource-defined assets through rigorous, systematic investigation.
BMR actively pursues strategic joint ventures and operational partnerships with experienced mining companies, bringing complementary technical expertise and investment capital to accelerate project development timelines and value realisation.
Comprehensive project development services encompassing feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, regulatory approvals, and integrated mine planning — advancing assets from exploration stage through to final production decision.
